Connie Mack Framed Photo Presentation

Connie Mack Framed Photo Presentation

Legendary baseball manager Connie Mack may have been the only man to progress from player to manager to owner in baseball history. He's best know for his buttoned-down presence in the Philadelphia Athletic's dugout, as well as his 5 World Series Championships and Hall of Fame membership.

This is a very special item; a photo presentation that includes a photo of Connie Mack, as well as a typed note dated December 27, 1949, written to Thomas Richardson and signed by Connie Mack with a steel-tip fountain pen.

An American professional baseball player, manager, and team owner, Connie Mack was the longest-serving manager in Major League Baseball history and was elected into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1937, about two years before this note was written.  Connie Mack holds records with his victory total being almost 1,000 more than any other manager.

Thomas Richardson was then President of the AA Eastern League, serving until 1960.  The note itself is a friendly and intimate gesture from Connie Mack to "Tommy" Richardson.  The letterhead reads: American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia and includes an emblem commemorating the 1839-1939 Baseball Centennial. The special document is authenticated by James Spence Authentication and comes with a Letter of Authenticity from JSA.

Fans and collectors alike will instantly see the value in this rare, signed note included as part of this presentation.  If you want this for your own, buy it now before it is gone.

Due to the unique nature of this item we will charge your credit card for the full amount immediately upon taking your order. This policy ensures we reserve the item for you. We will confirm your order by e-mail. Please allow at least 2 weeks for delivery.
